I need to swipe out a gas oven igniter, and need to un-connect and connect the new igniter wires.

I have an igniter replacement part for my Samsung gas oven. I need to install but the old part is connected by 2 white wires.  I need to unhook those wires from connectors and/or splice those 2 wires to place the new igniter into the oven.  This project is not so much gas work, but electrical in nature just to remove and install an igniter replacement part.  Oven is all prepared, panels removed, and work area is ready to go.
